The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry is seeking to appoint a Knowledge Exchange Associate with expertise in process analytical chemistry. You will form part of an interdisciplinary team of scientists and engineers within an Innovate UK Sustainable Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Programme Grand Challenge project: ‘Integrated Spectroscopy and Photonics for Increased Productivity and Resource Efficiency in Medicines Manufacture (InSPIREmed)’. You will possess a PhD or equivalent in process analytical chemistry, analytical science, chemistry, chemical engineering or a related field. You will have experience in the use of optical spectroscopic techniques for on-line process monitoring and in knowledge exchange activities. You will work closely with industrial partners, research and technology organisations and regulatory experts to develop and deliver end-user engagement, dissemination and training activities. This post is available for up to 3 years.
