This statement, along with the applicable University of Strathclyde Privacy Notice, explains how we process the information that you provide. You can either accept these Terms and continue with the application process or decline – in which case you will be returned to the vacancies homepage.
Before you submit personal information to this site, you must confirm that you accept these Terms and accept that the University of Strathclyde may process your personal information for recruitment purposes including anonymous statistical reporting. Further, you accept that, if you are successful with any application, the information that you supply will be used subsequently for employment purposes.
From any time that we provide you with a User ID and/or password, you will be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that User ID and/or password. Account information is password-protected for your own privacy and security. You agree to notify us of any unauthorised use of your User ID and/or password. Data transmissions are protected by industry-standard SSL encryption.
If you apply and are unsuccessful, or otherwise stop using this system, your account will be terminated after 18 months' inactivity and your personal information will be removed. The remaining, anonymised data will be retained to ensure that the University can meet its Equal Opportunities monitoring requirements and can prepare anonymous management information reports on recruitment activities. If, at any time, you wish your data to be removed sooner, please delete your account using this site or email the University of Strathclyde Human Resources department at email@example.com, from the email address that you used to register.
By selecting "Yes, I accept", you will be asserting the following statement: "I agree to the above Terms and I confirm that I have read and understand the applicable University of Strathclyde Privacy Notice. I agree to the University processing my personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice."
