The Centre for Energy Policy is looking for an experienced and dynamic business development professional to join our rapidly expanding impact focused and policy-facing research centre. The Business Development Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that we continue to produce the high quality, independent and policy relevant research essential to energy and climate policy development in the UK and beyond, the Net Zero transition and the associated public policy landscape.
Responsible for shaping and driving the Centre’s fundraising strategy, the Business Development Lead will work closely with the CEP team to develop successful funding bids. They will also manage engagement with key funding partners across industry, civil society and Government agencies that underpin the Centre’s research. In addition to this they will play a pivotal role, alongside project leads, the Centre Manager and other University of Strathclyde professional staff, to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards and in line with funder requirements.
