The School of Government and Public Policy seeks to appoint a scholar in the field of political economy at the level of Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor in the US) or Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor).
We are open with regard to area of research across political economy, but are particularly interested in the following areas: comparative political economy (with any geographic focus and policy specialisation, including tax, inequality and growth); international political economy (with a focus in international trade and/or finance and/or environment); regional and local political economy; formal modelling.
The school has a dynamic cluster of emerging political economy scholars. The candidate will engage with this group to develop our political economy teaching programme and major collaborative projects.
