In the role as a Research Associate you will join the DMEM research team in-person at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. As member of the prestigious EPSRC Research Centre for Smart, Collaborative Industrial Robotics our world-leading research team focuses on human-robotics systems, Digital Twins, and applied Artificial Intelligence.

Salary range: £36,024 - £44,263

You will join the Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) Research Group in the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, partner in the £25m UK government funded Made Smarter Research Centre for Smart, Collaborative Industrial Robotics. As a researcher in Smart Collaborative Industrial Robotics at the University of Strathclyde, you will develop frontier research ideas for smart manufacturing factories including human-robot collaboration, support implementation of feasibility studies, dissemination of research results in peer-reviewed journals, plan and write research proposals under the guidance from senior colleagues; engage where required in relevant teaching, professional and knowledge exchange activities; and input to administrative activities.
