As a Leading International Technological University, the University of Strathclyde has significant international reach and ambition. Inspired by the founding mission as ‘the place of useful learning’, the University of Strathclyde makes a positive difference to the lives of our students, to society and to the world. Our reputation and influence is global, yet we are an institution firmly grounded in the heart of Glasgow, contributing to the social, cultural, and economic life of Scotland through the presence of a vibrant, international student community.

The University’s Strategic Plan 2020-2025 sets out targets for growth of our non-EU student population and Vision 2030 increases the emphasis on international recruitment further than before. To meet and exceed this objective, sustainable growth from the University’s priority recruitment markets is essential. The Senior International Officer will play a key role in developing the East and South East Asia markets and delivering student numbers for 2025 and beyond. The role requires initiative and self-discipline, as well as responsiveness and detailed planning.

Formal interviews for this post will be held on 21/05/2024.

Informal enquiries about the post can be directed to Kimberley Hendron, International Recruitment Manager - (kimberley.hendron@strath.ac.uk).
