Salary range: £36,914 - £40,322 pro rata, per annum Term: Open-ended 
FTE: 1.0 (35 hours/week)

As part of the Disability and Wellbeing Team, reporting to the Disability and Wellbeing Manager, you will manage and lead a small team of dedicated staff, providing same day individual support to students presenting with a wide range of risk, distress and personal difficulties. You will be an experienced counsellor, practised in supporting others who are presenting with suicidal ideation and plans. You will assess and be confident in working with students at risk, or passing them on to more appropriate services. You will also provide single session interventions and reviews, and have experience of this practice. Being a qualified Counsellor with leadership experience, you will work within the ethical framework of a relevant professional body and in accordance with University policy, strategy and regulations. You will have experience of working in a busy mental health or counselling environment.
